Design from one piece? We know all too well from the garage. But thanks to Stéphane Dufour, we can now also enjoy it in the living room: To this end, the French all-rounder captures the essential shapes of famous sports cars in hand-made molds and synthetic resin - and finally gives them the finishing touches in his studio in Los Angeles. And they are handcrafted with sandpaper and paint. Thus, on a scale of 1:18, he created sculptures of legendary cars that changed roads, race tracks, and the world. Among them are models from Zuffenhausen and Weissach: In addition to various versions of the Le Mans winner 917, the artist currently also offers the 356 or 718 RSK. Speaking of flowing forms: Dufour can also paint - and also offers art prints of his often boxer-fixed works.
