Made from one piece: Stéphane Dufours 917 sculptures

Good design shouldn't be limited to the car we drive. Wouldn't it be perfect if furniture was in the slipstream of our favourite vehicle? Thanks to Stéphane Dufour it finally happens.

Design from one piece? We know all too well from the garage. But thanks to Stéphane Dufour, we can now also enjoy it in the living room: To this end, the French all-rounder captures the essential shapes of famous sports cars in hand-made molds and synthetic resin - and finally gives them the finishing touches in his studio in Los Angeles. And they are handcrafted with sandpaper and paint. Thus, on a scale of 1:18, he created sculptures of legendary cars that changed roads, race tracks, and the world. Among them are models from Zuffenhausen and Weissach: In addition to various versions of the Le Mans winner 917, the artist currently also offers the 356 or 718 RSK. Speaking of flowing forms: Dufour can also paint - and also offers art prints of his often boxer-fixed works.
